Well you might be wondering after the leak of the N96 pictures as to whether those were real or when is Nokia officially going to announce it….turns out full specs of the Nokia N96 appeared briefly on Nokia.de and then disappeared.
Now according to these specs Nokia N96 offers a lot of crucial upgrades. It features quad band GSM and Dual band HSDPA support that run on S60 3rd Edition FP2. Nokia N96 has a built in GPS receiver with a GPS support, Wi-Fi with UPnP/DLNA support and Bluetooth. The phone has a micro USB and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The phone includes a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and a Carl Ziess Lens. It has a dual LED and integrated geotagging support. The phone also features other attractive multi media features like the TV-out in SDTV resolution and DVB-H receiver in addition to all the features that the Nokia N95 8 GB features.
In terms of dimensions the Nokia N96 weighs 125 grams and is a tincy mincy bit taller than the Nokia N95 8GB. The phone has a 2.8’’ QVGA display that displays 16 M colors.
To support all its up gradations and for efficient usage and storage the phones built memory is 16 GB that can be expended using micro SD. It has a 128MB RAM and a 256 ROM memory.
But like all smart phones this phone again is behind its time when it comes to battery life. It has a Li-Ion BF-5L battery of 950 mAh capacity.
