Nokia 3250 (Reviews)

See Larger ImageThe Nokia Corporation announces with pride, its new invention of a smartphone thats named as Nokia 3250, a Series 60 on Symbian operating system. This handset has a swiveling keypad that makes the whole body look stylish. The user will be excited to know that the phone can be twisted in three ways in order to convert itself into a music player, a camera and then again a smartphone when twisted each time. Great isn't it?? It resembles Nokia 3230 in looks meaning it has got a similar keypad which is situated right below the display, though Nokia 3230 did not have a swiveling keypad. The Nokia 3250 has got thick edges making it look sharp featured.

The Nokia 3250 operates with Triband GSM(GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900) with automatic switching between bands. It measures 103.8 x 50 x 19.8mm weighing 115 g. The display of the handset provides with 262K color active TFT 176 x 208 pixels with its size being 34.8mm x 41.1mm. As mentioned above the handset can be twisted to be used as a music player or a 2-megapixel digital camera or again a smartphone. The Nokia 3250 can be rotated with 270 degrees. Also available in the keypad are a joystick, end key, 2 softkeys, application, edit, send, clear and power keys. Surprisingly, this convertable music player consists of play/pause, rewind, forward and stop music keys (MP3/eAAC+).

The user can comfortably transfer music from purchased CDs from PC to his Nokia 3250 handset with the help of Audio manager, Windows Media Player or other PC software. The memory expands up to 1 GB of extremely good stereo quality. It enables the user to plug the headphones into the 3.5 mm connector jack in the headset cable. The Formats supported are eAAC+,M4A,MPEG-4 AAC LC, LTP, MP3, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, 64 polyphonic, Real audio voice, Real audio7, Real audio8, Real audio 10, MIDI and WMA.

See Larger Image The Nokia 3250 contains an Integrated 2-megapixel digital camera. The handset facilitates to use the night mode, standard mode or self timer mode. Apart from the camera it has the provision of video capturing also which allows to capture video upto 1 hour with microSD card. There is MMS facility, with OMA 1.2 specification which enables the user to send or receive messages upto 300KB and to watch the captured videos or stream music videos by using the real player. Similarly, the text messages supports picture messaging, concatenated SMS, distribution lists. Email is available with the support of SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4 protocols. There is visual radio for entertainment which allows to find out which song is played in the radio stations, the singer and other interesting information.

The Nokia 3250 connects with Bluetooth wireless technology. The sad part is that it does not consist of an Infrared Port. Synchronization is possible with compatible PC over a local bluetooth wireless connection. Also has USB 2.0.

For browsing, the user enjoys WAP 2.0, xHTML over TCP/IP, WAP/OMA and W3C atandards support ECMA script, CSS, Javascript, XHTML MP, XHTML, WAP 2.0 and HTML 4.01. Users may transfer data tby using EDGE- class 10 and GPRS-class 10.

See Larger Image The games in the Nokia 3250 are Punkwigs and Snakes. The user can download some other games if he wishes to. Apart from these special and extraordinary features, the Nokia 3250 contains normal facilities like phonebook, alarm, notepad, calendar, remote synchronisation, calculator, file manager and so on. The call management provides with call waiting, speed dialing, automatic answer, conference etc.

So here are the unique features of the very new Nokia 3250. None can resist the stylish and eye-catching looks of this handset. Morover the features are different though the batterylife cannot be guarenteed. Now this is a monotonous problem. Overlooking this drawback the phone has every feature that can lead to Satisfaction.
